About

Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am a 30-something scientist and writer. My background is in meteorology, air pollution, and aerosol chemistry, and I’m studying for a Ph.D. in Environmental and Atmospheric Science. I’m doing a joint degree, so I have university homes in both Australia and Scotland, which might be the world’s longest commute.

In between my regular adventures in the lab and the field, I’m out exploring some place new, shimmying my heart out in a coin belt, or becoming more dangerous with a guitar.

I’m always happy to hear ideas for collaborations, travel recommendations, and any comments you might have. Get in touch!
